Is it me? Or did 2021 go by in a blink? I know all years feel that way around the New Year, but somehow it seems even more-so this year. Maybe it’s the pandemic or maybe it’s because I am constantly operating on a toddler’s schedule. Who knows?

2021 was a good year. I welcomed some new clients, made some new friends, reconnected with some old friends and opened a studio. Geez, who saw that last one coming. When I remember back to this time last year I don’t think I could have fully anticipated what was to come or how much my work would change and grow. Thank you to all my clients, colleagues, friends and family who make it all possible for me to chase my dreams and do what I love. And a very special thank you to my wife, Jill and daughter, Olive. They put up with me day in and day out. Pick me up when I am down and are a constant source of support and encouragement to keep going.

Here’s to another super year in 2022!

Most photographers go out of their way to avoid shooting at noon. Especially on a bright sunny day. But, when the headlining series has a practice session right in the middle of the day you figure it out.

Pack the House Food Drive - October

Back in October the Rochester Opera House held a food drive with the goal of placing a bag of donated food in every seat in the house. I was asked to capture “the shot” from the stage. This image was created by taking multiple photos and then stitching them together in Photoshop.

When it rains, it pours. All you can do is strap on the rain gear and get to work. Personally, I don’t really mind shooting in the rain. It isn’t ideal, that’s for sure, but at least it’s different.

Light Up MBC - October

October 13, 2021. For the 5th consecutive year I photographed the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth for Moore Fight Moore Strong. This panoramic was taken from the causeway connecting Peirce Island and Four Tree Island. I chose this spot because you can see all three of the bridges connecting Portsmouth, NH and Kittery, ME.

Every once in a while I see an image on the back of the camera and can’t wait to get back to the media center to see it on the computer screen. This was one of those times.

Alone in the Snow. Taken on a whim one day when I was driving home from my studio. I happened to see this tree alone in the middle of a snow covered field and had to stop for this photo.

Matty V and I covered the Hagerty Garage + Social track day event at Lime Rock together back in May. There weren’t many cars there that day, but what did turn up was pretty special. Like this Ferrari 812 Superfast.
